I'm SICK of people flaming fan art. IT'S STILL ART.

I draw both Original characters and fan art as many of you have seen. How could you discredit either of them? They both take time and effort, they both look good, they both speak a message.

Come on now. It's getting ridiculous.

D: I used to get nagged at my friends/family all the time for drawing FanArt just because the characters aren't entirely thought up by me >_> And now I just get nagged at for drawing my original characters too much just because they're not characters from shows that my friends like. (And they're constantly comparing them to characters they think are cool just to make themselves somewhat like the picture a little more. >_< Why can't people just like the art and like OR dislike the subject? ) I would so use this stamp if I had a subscription XD;

I agree. We all get into little "clicks". Some like original art, some like fan art. Then there are the purist who don't like art unless you use oils and a canvas. No digital art, no photo manips. It's crazy!

I love all art! It's an expression of our souls. Whatever medium we use, or whatever style we decide to use, whether it be original art, or fan art, should be acceptable.

I'm behind you all the way! :)
